An Author's Hope

I'm just reading this book by Catherine Anderson - Only By Your Touch.
She's my favourite author of all time! ((:
And it's a romance novel by the way...

Anyway, I was just reading it and I came across this passage in the book which I thought was very worth sharing.

Here goes...

"God just put the particles together differently to create bears and trees and other things in our world. We aren't alike on the outside, and yet, essentially, we are the same.
I am in you, and you are in me, and we are in the animals and the trees.
Someday, I hope all of mankind will come full circle back to the basic truths that Jesus tried to teach ... - that we're all one with each other, millions of tiny pieces in a huge jigsaw puzzle. If we destroy just one of the pieces, we risk destroying it all."

Amazing, isn't it? How we're all different, yet the same.

We matter.
Every single one of us.
We matter, we matter.

I was at mass earlier today, feeling like crap due to the extreme amount of stress.
I prayed and prayed for Jesus to speak to me through his words. I remember the reading from
1st cor 7:32-34.
About marriage.
"I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs-how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world-how he can please his wife-and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world-how she can please her husband."

As the girl read I listened to every single word she said, after which i thank the lord for speaking to me and just having faith because i KNOW AND HEARD AND REMEMBER very clearly that the girl read:
"I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs-how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world-how he can please his wife-and his interests are divided. like how a little girl only concern is giving her life to the Lord:Has no one to please but him. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world-how she can please her husband."

I opened up my bible, and I was shocked to see no such sentence in the verse. Gosh, what a way. I've been speechless about it for the day.
I listened to the voices of the choir which didn't mean a word they sang.
There was a part where it was sang "May the Lord be kind to you, may the Lord give you peace."
And Jesus spoke to me, "why are all this people singing may may may. I will and they just don't believe in it. "
that's when i realize that doubt doesn't exist. doubt is just a word to describe the absence of Faith.
similar to the story I read "God Vs Science".

"Recieve my body and drink my blood, have no fear for it doesn't exist when we are one."
