I'm just reading this book by Catherine Anderson - Only By Your Touch. She's my favourite author of all time! ((: And it's a romance novel by the way...
Anyway, I was just reading it and I came across this passage in the book which I thought was very worth sharing.
Here goes...
"God just put the particles together differently to create bears and trees and other things in our world. We aren't alike on the outside, and yet, essentially, we are the same. I am in you, and you are in me, and we are in the animals and the trees. Someday, I hope all of mankind will come full circle back to the basic truths that Jesus tried to teach ... - that we're all one with each other, millions of tiny pieces in a huge jigsaw puzzle. If we destroy just one of the pieces, we risk destroying it all."
Amazing, isn't it? How we're all different, yet the same.
We matter. Every single one of us. We matter, we matter.
